Insti-Fluor slides come pre-loaded with fluorescent probe, either DAPI, SYTO, or PI, for staining aqueous sample suspension for microbial contamination. Slides can be stored at room temperature for at least six months, and usually up to one year (when stored properly) and still maintain full viability.
Insti-Fluor slide kits consist of a box of 24 pre-made Insti-Fluor slides. They may be ordered as a kit of individual fluorescent probes, or a Multi-Probe kit consisting of 8 slides each of DAPI, SYTO, and PI Insti-Fluor slides.
Insti-Spore: Bacillus endospore detection slides. These are used for obtaining an immediate visual indication of the presence of endospores.
Insti-SporeSi3: Silica-Coated Bacillus endospore detection slides
This kit is designed to aid in the detection of Silica-coated Bacillus endospores when used in conjunction with Insti-Spore slides.
Insti-Spore CF. Calcofluor M2R test slides for detecting and identifying fungi (yeast and filamentous fungi).
Insti-Fluor L/D: Bacterial viability slides. These slides have a mixture of SYTO and PI, and are useful for evaluating the viability of a bacterial preparation. They are available in kits of either 5 slides or 24 slides.
Insti-Spore endospore standards. This is a kit of two permanent slides containing fluorescently labeled Bacillus subtilis endospores. Use these slides as a reference for identifying sample endospores
